Whistleblower

Last updated (Effective Date): Nov 13, 2023

To comply with statutory regulations and internal rules, and the principles laid down in our Code of Business Conduct, is a top priority at EVA Solutions Group Oy (“EVA Global). EVA Global´s success is based, in part, on Integrity, Compliance, and Trust. To meet these standards and principles that add value to our day-to-day business, it is important to learn of potential employee or supplier misconduct, should this happen, and to end it. This is why a whistleblower framework is in place and why the Neblr Group, as third- party supplier of the system, provides the means to an impartial and confidential whistleblowing system for us.

Key to our Whistleblower System is the principle of procedural rigour and fairness. It also guarantees protection for whistleblowers, persons implicated and employees contributing to the investigation of reported misconduct, again in compliance with statutory regulation protecting the whistleblower from any kind of retaliatory measures.

This also includes offering opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. No steps are taken to identify anonymous whistleblowers, who do not misuse our Whistleblower System. Retaliation of whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at EVA Global will not be tolerated. Investigations will be conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information will be processed in a fair, fast and protected process inside the anonymity of the process. To Additionally, and to further the whistleblower´s feeling at ease with the process, the initial reporting can be made by the whistleblower indicating who (colleague or line manager, for example) should NOT be involved or have access to the investigative process.

How do you report?

You can report your concerns through this anonymous link, that will open in a new window: https://app.northwhistle.com/home?tenant=63203175a87e64000979dbd5

Experienced colleagues within the company´s whistleblower framework examine each report for potential misconduct by an EVA Global employee thoroughly and apply the follow up mechanisms. First, you will get a confirmation of receipt on submission of the report. The Investigation Office then assesses your report. This includes gathering facts particularly from the whistleblower. Should this initial evaluation show grounds for suspicion of a violation, the Investigating officer will advance the report for investigation. Afterwards, the results of the investigation will be assessed and appropriate measures will be recommended. Information about the status and the outcome of the procedure will be given to you without undue delay at all key parts of the process. Potential violations of the Code of Business Conduct by third party suppliers, including serious risks and violations of human rights, including working conditions, and environment by direct and indirect suppliers, can also be reported via the whistleblower framework from the link below.
